I’m Margaret, an art director currently based in Chicago, Illinois.

I have a very interdisciplinary art & design background and have felt called to a creative career since a young age.

I graduated from University of Michigan with my BFA in Art & Design and a minor in Journalism. My professional career started in New York City with STARK Carpet, where I learned the importance of material, fiber, and coordinated product development with mills overseas.

My true passion lies in print, pattern, and textile design. This brought me to Skyline Furniture in Chicago. Here, I art direct and oversee design of all textiles, furniture, and story telling for our showroom and retailer collections. I run all print R&D on our in-house digital textile printer.

When I am not mood boarding or researching next season’s trends, you can find me painting, perfecting my ceramics skills, practicing yoga, vintage shopping, attending concerts, or planning the perfect party.
